Anita has demonstrated strong results, commercial expertise and a track record of success in both the business and public sectors. As Vice President of Operations for Lifetimes Living Inc., Anita works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to overcome business challenges, maximize loyalty and create new revenue streams and growth opportunities that exceed expectations. Her diverse background in business, profit and loss responsibility along with her collaborative approach to leading teams in strategy development and execution make Anita well suited to lead the Lifetimes Living portfolio. Her focus is on understanding consumer needs and leveraging unique opportunities that sustain and bring value to our communities. Personable, positive and practical, Anita likes knowing that her work helps people.

Anita began her career at Kraft/General Foods Canada where she held several positions over 12 years, culminating in the role of Director of Kraft Cheese Division. At Harlequin for 17 years, Anita ultimately held the position of Global Strategy Leader, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategies for creating new business development opportunities. At Centric Health she was Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Brand Strategy and at Metrolinx she oversaw a staff of 90 as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. Prior to joining our team in September 2019, Anita was on contract with Nestle as Vice President Generating Demand, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of long- and short-term brand, category and selling plans. Anita has received awards for her advertising and direct marketing campaigns at Kraft/General Foods Canada and Harlequin.

Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. The recipient of 17 academic awards and scholarships, Anita graduated with the Highest Distinction from both programs and was awarded the Dean’s Graduation Medal at the University of Toronto.

Born and raised in Toronto, Anita currently lives in the Toronto community of Bennington Heights. Her daughter and two sons are the joy of her life. An avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, Anita enjoys swimming, tennis, sailing, golfing, water skiing, hiking and canoeing in summer as well as skiing, snowshoeing and skating in winter.
