Regional Director of Operations, Lifetimes Living Inc.
Julie joined the Lifetimes Living (LLI) team in February of 2021 and as Regional Director of Operations, she supports 7 of the 15 LLI properties located in the Western region of Ontario. Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her role, with over 15 years of retirement experience in a variety of roles including activities, marketing, and as a General Manager, with additional experience working in a community support role.
Julie enjoys supporting the leadership teams in a caring, compassionate, empathetic, and respectful manner. She loves to mentor, coach, and develop people to achieve their goals, while embracing the Vision, Mission, and Values and creating an environment that fully supports Making Every Moment Matter™. Julie strongly believes that there is power in kindness, and when you do all things with kindness and compassion, everything else falls into place!
Julie holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the University of Windsor, and has participated in many external committees that serve to both improve and enhance retirement living and the communities that she lives and works in. She is very proud of two initiatives in particular; collecting over 2 million pounds of food for those in need, and The Dream Project, which raised over $350,000.00 for mental health initiatives, both in Windsor Essex County.
Julie was raised in Charing Cross, a small village outside of Chatham, and currently resides in Belle River. When not working she enjoys a variety of activities including playing many kinds of sports, being surrounded by nature, reading and refinishing furniture. She is also always up for a road trip, an adventure, and spending time with her two sons, family, and friends.
