The Responsive Group has been central to Linda’s career for over fifteen years. In her current role as Vice President of Operations for Responsive Management Inc., she brings expertise and knowledge in administration, human resources management, labour relations and legislative standards. Committed to providing mentorship to the Administrators and supporting the homes in building strong teams, she openly shares the skills she has acquired over the years.
Linda began her career as a bookkeeper in a home managed by Responsive Health Management Inc., eventually moving into the role of Administrator, which she held for eight years. In 2011, she left the company to pursue a career as a Manager with the Toronto Community Care Access Centre. A year and a half later she returned to our team, assuming her present role. Of her time away, she says, “I found I missed the people and good energy at Responsive.”
Passionate about her work, Linda is actively involved in external committees for the Local Health Integration Networks and the Community Care Access Centres in the geographical areas that our homes serve. Her educational background is in Health Services Management and Administration and she is a certified Administrator in Long Term Care through the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA). She has a Bachelor of Health Administration from Ryerson University and a certificate in Health Services Management, also from Ryerson.
