Tammy brings 20+ years of nursing experience with an emphasis on seniors’ care over the last 13 years to our team. Passionate about ensuring a high quality of life and fulfillment to our seniors who have built our world, Tammy is dedicated to “giving back.” As Director of Clinical Services, Tammy promotes excellence in the delivery of personalized care services by fostering growth, development and support for our community teams. A compassionate and caring leader, Tammy promotes the highest standards of care by mentoring and assisting her team in achieving their goals. She believes that laughter, love and kindness, no matter the diagnosis, are the best medicine.

Tammy began her career in post-surgical nursing, moving into long term care in the positions of Assistant Director of Care and eventually Director of Care. Prior to joining our team in 2019, she held the positions of Director of Wellness and Senior Director of Wellness at Amica, where she developed standards of complex care by providing education and training to Directors of Wellness and Marketing teams. She also worked with sales and marketing teams to establish therapeutic working relationships with external resources such as hospitals. At Amica, Tammy was named Director of Wellness of the Year in 2016 and 2017 and received the Leadership Development Award in 2017 and 2018.

Tammy graduated from Humber College in 2001 as a Registered Nurse. She has participated in two committees to provide education and training for pain management, one for acute care and one to promote wellness and well-being.

Born in Milton, Ontario, Tammy recently moved to Oro-Medonte, Ontario, with her family, spouse and 3 children. In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with family, reading, gardening, relaxing by the lake and enjoying nature.
