Director of Finance – Responsive Health Management Inc.

As Director of Finance with Responsive Health Management, Yang Li brings deep financial expertise and a strong understanding of the senior care sector to support the organization’s financial and operational goals. Since joining the Responsive team in January 2023, Yang has played a key role in providing financial leadership, oversight, and insight to support sustainable growth and responsible stewardship across the organization.

Yang’s career spans public accounting and senior care, with many years of progressive experience. She began her professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 2007, relocating from Ireland to Toronto, where she advanced from Senior Associate to Assurance Manager. During her time at PwC, Yang spent four years working in specialized Financial Services and Real Estate, building a strong foundation in complex financial reporting, audit, and assurance. Prior to joining Responsive, she worked for four years as a Finance Manager within another senior care organization, further strengthening her sector-specific expertise.

Yang’s professional development is extensive and global. She holds a Bachelor (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Accounting from University College Dublin (UCD). She is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland and also holds membership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of financial practice.

Born in China, Yang moved to Ireland at the age of 17 to pursue her education, where she spent ten years before relocating to Canada. Outside of work, Yang lives with her husband and two grown children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
