Adele Lopes

Director of Operations, Responsive Health Management

Adele has spent her career with Responsive Health Management (RHM), starting in 1997 as a part time receptionist. Over the years, she has held progressively more senior roles including Admissions Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Assistant, Programs Manager, and prior to her current role was an Executive Director for over 10 years.

As Director of Operations, Adele provides day to day support to the homes, including training, ensuring the home is in compliance with the Ministry of Long Term Care, and supporting the home with various Person Centered Care initiatives including the Butterfly Project and Welbi. She enjoys her time spent with the Homes providing leadership and mentoring support.

She holds a Social Services diploma in Gerontology and is currently enrolled in the Health Administration Program at Athabasca. Additionally, Adele participates with the Home and Community Care Support Services, UHN IPAC Hub Community of Practice.

Adele was born and raised in Toronto, and continues to call it home with her husband, two children and two French bulldogs, also surrounded by her big Portuguese family. When not working, she enjoys traveling, especially to hot and sunny destinations, shopping, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, supporting her kids at soccer, hockey and gymnastics, singing and dancing.
