Danielle McCarthyDirector of Program Design and Innovation

In 2019, Danielle moved into the position of Director of Program Design and Innovation, where she works closely with our business unit leadership. Her focus is on collaboratively bringing customer experience and workplace culture to life through innovation and program design. Danielle joined our team in 2014 as a Regional Director of Operations for Lifetimes Living Inc., where she was responsible for overseeing nine retirement communities in Ontario. No matter her role, Danielle consistently brings a focused and performance-driven approach to making a difference in seniors’ care.

Prior to joining our team, Danielle held the position of Executive Director at Revera for five years and Senior Executive Director in her last year there. In these roles, she was responsible for the recruitment of leadership teams and the overall operation of retirement residences in the health care industry. Known for her high-energy and innovative style, she was recognized for achieving the top 10 Most Improved Retirement Residences and the Quest for Excellence leadership award. Danielle has a diploma in Business Administration, with a specialty in Human Resources from Durham College, and most recently completed the Executive Program at Queens University, Smith School of Business.

Born and raised in rural Ontario, Danielle currently resides in the area with her husband and two young daughters. When not working, she likes to stay challenged and motivated to live a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys travel and has completed different physical challenges such as participating in a Tough Mudder and in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
