Director of Operations, Responsive Health Management

Annette joined the Responsive Health Management team in February 2021. As Director of Operations, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience, and provides leadership, oversight, and support to the homes.

Annette’s experience in senior care spans over 30 years, with positions in retirement communities, seniors day programs, and a variety of roles in both not for profit, charitable and private long term care homes. Before joining the RHM team, Annette opened a new long term care home and served as their Executive Director for 17 years.

Annette holds a diploma in Recreation and Gerontology, and both a Business and Administrator Certificate. She enjoys supporting and mentoring the Executive Directors in labour relations, recruitment and retention, budgeting, compliance and most importantly building a culture of caring where everyone can be all they can be. An excellent communicator, Annette welcomes the challenge of managing difficult situations with a view of everyone being heard.

When not in the RHM homes, Annette enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husbands and two grown sons, and her new grandson. She loves the outdoors,  sports, gardening, cooking and whenever possible, a beach vacation is always welcome!
