Ugette VanderpostGovernance and Leadership Specialist – Responsive Health Management Inc.

Ugette Vanderpost serves as Governance and Leadership Development Specialist with Responsive Health Management (RHM), supporting effective governance and leadership practice across all RHM homes. Since joining the organization in August 2023, she has worked closely with non-profit boards and leadership teams to strengthen values-aligned governance, sound decision-making, and accountability in support of quality care and organizational performance.

Her role includes providing strategic governance guidance, fostering productive relationships between boards and the RHM team, and designing and delivering leadership and people development initiatives aligned with RHM’s leadership competencies. Through governance support, leadership coaching, and capability-focused programs, Ugette helps cultivate strong, collaborative leadership cultures grounded in integrity and empathy.

Ugette brings more than 30 years of experience across the private and non-profit sectors, including education, consulting, and health care. She previously served as Head of a private school for 20 years, with responsibility for all areas of operation, and later worked as a leadership consultant supporting non-profit organizations across the province. She is also a sessional faculty member in the School of Education at Trent University.

Ugette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English, a Bachelor of Education specializing in Outdoor and Experiential Education, and a Master’s degree in Leadership. Her Master’s thesis received distinction, placing in the top three percent. She has been recognized for leadership, coaching, and 25 years of community volunteerism. An accomplished athlete, she has competed and medaled at provincial and national levels in rowing and continues to coach and mentor emerging athletes and leaders.

Born in Belleville and raised in Brighton, Ontario, Ugette lives in Keene with her husband and is the proud parent of two adult children. She is happiest outdoors and on the water and remains deeply committed to supporting leaders who bring care, dignity, and joy to seniors.
